i am quite pleased with how this site is coming together but also good lord this is not an easy undertaking. i have an idea of the desired end result for everything, but comprehending the pieces required to get there is another beast entirely. figuring out where to start and how to make the js work with the css feels like trying to learn a new language via immersion.
on the bright side, i really like what i'm doing. it feels good to focus on a project for myself instead of a project for somebody else, and i'm gradually remembering what it is i enjoy in life. also i am very excited to have a place to put all the silly thoughts i have about the world.
